A description of the work of the Audit Committee of the Group's Parent, is set out in its report in the 'Audit Committee' section on the 'Corporate Governance And Internal Control' page of the Pennon Group Annual Report and Accounts which includes an explanation of how auditor objectivity and independence are safeguarded when non-audit services are provided by the auditors.
The Pennon Group Plc's pension schemes are also audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
